Welcome to Shipyards Grid
The sun is setting, painting the sky orange. Ships sail along the shore, pirates might be found drinking rum in the taverns, and music drifts across the water. The residents are friendly and visitors are welcome. What else do we need?
Basic accounts are available for $5 per month. One free parcel is included with the account.
The fee is collected by renting a parcel in-world and paying for it via PayPal within 24 hours of your account being approved.
Shipyards Grid Viewer
Our own viewer, with realistic ocean waves, calm harbours, lakes and storms. Shipyards Grid is already set up in it, so just install it and log in.
Version 2026.10.31 Beta, Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). Based on Firestorm.
The installer is digitally signed (publisher: Chuck Lewis). Because it is new, your browser or Windows may still show a warning for a while: choose Keep in the browser, and if Windows says Windows protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway.
How to Connect
Using another viewer? Add our grid to it (Firestorm and most OpenSim viewers):
- Open Preferences → OpenSim → Grid Manager.
- Paste this login URI and click Apply:

- Pick Shipyards Grid from the grid list on the login screen.
